I'm AJ, the founder of 1AM Development — a one-person development studio based in Essex.
I started out as an in-house developer back in 2016, cutting my teeth on small WordPress sites before moving agency-side in 2018. Eight years of agency work later — building everything from simple marketing sites to complex enterprise platforms — I made the jump to running my own studio.
These days I work with two types of clients: established businesses who need bespoke software (usually a CRM or internal tool that actually fits how they work), and agencies who need a reliable dev partner for overflow or specialist projects. Either way, you get the same thing — direct access to me, honest advice, and code that's built to last.
